In my life before farming, I was a display director for a large retail store and a systems engineer in various industries. I decided to try my hand at farming when we moved to West Virginia to be closer to family and to take care of my aging father 10 years ago. My interest in farming started at a very young age, my mother buying seeds out of our grocery money so I could plant things in the yard. I am passionate about my animals, natural living and experimenting in the kitchen. We raise mostly Saanan goats, Ramboulet, Finish, East Friesian, and Border Leicester cross sheep and heritage breeds of laying hens on the rolling green pastures of our farm. I’m excited to share my love of animals, living well and eating right with my local community through providing fresh, local, grass-fed alternatives to the mass produced, grain fed options at the grocery store. See you at market!
